I dug up some footage from an old hard drive. DJ Shortkut during a livestream called “The Beat” in San Francisco circa 2015. He was a big influence on me when I first started DJing. I consider him one of the best in all around skills. I grew up watching his crews, the Invisbl Skratch Piklz and the Beat Junkies. I definitely learned the basics from them.

One of my all time favorites on TV. Many gems of wisdom in this interview. Rest in peace Anthony Bourdain, creator of one of the best food shows ever. “Respect the people you work with.”
What a satisfying victory reaching the top. Stellar performance this final game, beating the Boston Celtics, 103-90 in Game 6 to win the NBA Finals Championship. Watching the Warriors during the regular season, and seeing how they beat the Nuggets, Grizzlies, Mavericks, and the Celtics in the playoffs was special to watch this year. There were so many new pieces on the team that it felt a little unpredictable. But the addition of Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole, Gary Payton II, and Otto Porter, Jr. all had huge contributions to the Warriors system and core stars, Steph, Klay, and Draymond.
One thing I personally enjoyed this year, was seeing Steph display more of his arsenal with more drives to the rim, midrange game, and handles, with teams learning how to better contest his 3-point shot. So happy for Steph winning the NBA Finals MVP. Team ball, defense, fast pace, and ball movement. To me, that’s the best kind of basketball to watch. The crazy thing is that they’ll be back in the coming years with even more offensive firepower with James Wiseman, Jonathan Kuminga, and Moses Moody, potential upcoming stars who barely even played this year. It’s going to be fun to watch.

One of my favorite actors, Denzel Washington. Great behind the scenes commentary from production and cast, on the story and characters. What stood out to me first seeing the movie was the incredible fight scenes. It was directed by Antoine Fuqua who also did Training Day with Denzel. The first fight scene in the Russian restaurant is one of my favorite action sequences. Equalizer 3 is expected to come out in a couple years.
